Jonathan Edwards

Evangelist

Jonathan was baptized into the Lord's Church in 1996. He and his family have been members of the Valley Parkway congregation since 2008. Jonathan currently serves as our Evangelist.

One of his favorite Scriptures...

“Yet even now,” declares the Lord, “return to me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning; and rend your hearts and not your garments.” Return to the Lord your God, for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love; and he relents over disaster.

More About

Jonathan grew up in a preaching family. They served in various places in Oklahoma, Indiana, and abroad in Zambia. He was ordained as an evangelist in 2010. He has been operating the podcast/Youtube/website www.pureandsimplebible.com since 2015. He has also been a licensed Marriage and Family Therapy Associate since 2022.

Jonathan married his wife, Marissa, in 2007. They have been blessed with three children: Gabriel, Evangeline, and Penelope.

The Edwards served as a preaching family in Cambodia from 2014-2017. Jonathan and Marissa now return annually to Cambodia to minister and encourage there.
